On Saturday, we were part of a cruise to Blank Children's Hospital to form a parade of cars, trucks and motorcycles for the kids to watch. Scott Erickson is the organizer. He's a cancer survivor but he does this for the kids. It was a beautiful day for it. There was a car show afterward. More people took part in the cruise than stayed for the show...plus there was another larger show going on at the same time. The numbers weren't great but we knew it was for a good cause.
We met at Water Works Park before making our way downtown.
Bill ended up having issues with the Falcon so he and Maggie peeled off to go home before the cruise. We met Travis with his '32 Hiboy.

This is organizer Scott Erickson's truck. He painted the sign below. Awards were given and then separately they announced the "Scott's Choice" award...to Mary Lou! This was his personal favorite. What we will win is him painting Mary Lou on wood just like below!

This was a participation award for being there. Due to the low turnout, no one walked away empty- handed.
Dean and Linda were up for the weekend and they joined us at the show. Then took them out for a cruise after.
