VFW #4 2023

Another absolutely perfect evening last night after the brutal heat we had on the Fourth.  I don't have a car count but it was full and we heard the actual parking lot portion was near full at 4:15pm for 5pm start!

Bill and Maggie were nice to save us a prime spot on the pavement.  We've learned there is a whole other world in the shady area under a tree.  There are people and cars we see in pictures later that we didn't see there.  Had a nice time visiting with Bill and Maggie and Walt and Marie joined us as well.

We were talking to Marie about when Gordy bought the car from Bob Clark and I mentioned it was at a car show in Bondurant...Marie said she was there!

Nineteen of the following photos are mine and the rest from Tommy Shaw with permission.  I introduced myself to Tommy and he was glad someone was looking at his photos and is happy to share as long as someone is not trying to make money off them.  He brought his Model A roadster out last evening.

This is what it looks like when you get there.  Usually a drink ticket or token and last evening Cindy received a "Hello pretty lady" from John Yaw 😃
