BENNIGAN'S #2 (event canceled) 2023

Not many cars last night but that's because they canceled the event (possibly because it was after the Fourth or maybe Goodguys hangover) but car people are creatures of habit and it was beautiful weather.  We met some new people and got to talk about their cars so we felt it was a good evening out.

A 1966 Stingray next to a proper '32 5-window hiboy.  We did not visit with the Vette owner but met Jerry who has owned this Deuce for something like 30 years.  He knows someone connected to Newton and drag racing so I gave him my card in hopes of making another connection to Mary Lou and Gordy.

I met Justin who owns this 1966 T-Bird.  It's been in the family 20 years.  He was down from Cedar Rapids to the Goodguys and was on his way home when he saw cars so stopped by.  It was his grandmother's car and he said she was a teacher and one of her students bought the car new.  All original with some cheap restorations done along the way.  He's a GM guy but said this car will never leave the family.  He liked our Coker whitewalls.  Plates said BLUBIRD
