This was our first year as members of the club. I volunteered to help at a meeting and was assigned to watching trash and making sure the 7 trash cans/boxes were distributed. Gary and gang went out at 6pm on Friday to drop things off. The early crew was to get there at 6am on Saturday. Gary said I didn't have to come out that early. I made it there by 7:15 and was surprised how many people were there. Registration was from 8-11 but cars were there in advance of that. Cindy came out later due the cold and wind.
I wore shorts and forgot my jacket. Larry had another coat in his car that saved the day. Gary and I were the only ones wearing shorts. The show was unusual in that people were sitting in their cars with the windows up (men included).
Despite the conditions, the club had a record 133 pre-registered and 244 registered by 11am. Some cars left early.
We parked in "host" parking.
Checking in with Jane and Cindy. My phone died in the cold weather.
Channel 13 came out to cover.

Gary and Carol Anne brought out the '82 Vette.
This amazing 1955 Dodge pickup really looked like our Emerald Green paint. The owner wasn't sure but said that color sounded familiar. Hoping to see it again so we can park next to each other.
Gangster Row
This was the debut of the newly redone "Big Orange". A very different look and upgrades to muffler, etc. New hood and blacked out part of grille to accent the chrome.
This guy rolls in with a 1948 Buick (one of two he owns). He was wearing a Buick service shirt (vintage of course).
