On Saturday, we participated in the Carfest/Truckfest/Bikefest held at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny. It was a beautiful day and a great facility. The show is dedicated to epilepsy awareness. It was organized by Michael Gatewood whose daughter has a rare form of epilepsy.
We put on our sunscreen only to end up under Gary and Sandy Pullen's canopy 😎. We were told 464 vehicles were there throughout the day. We were honored to be selected in the Top 25 along with Gary and Sandy!
Most of the photos below are mine but I did borrow a few from Tommy Shaw who did double duty on Saturday covering the show in Pella then coming back to this show.
