SUGAR SHACK #4

The car season is winding down as we get into October.  A few car shows left and roll-ins continue through the end of the month...so we wanted to get out.  Smaller car turn out but fun with the regulars and we did meet some new people.  Some of the pictures below were taken by Ed Mills and posted on Facebook.  Jane Ferguson is the one who shared them with us...the rest are mine.

We saw the '54 Chevy below a week ago in Johnston but it was pulling out as we were pulling in.  This is Cindy's new favorite car 😀.  Great couple and long time street rodders.

The man and woman to the left own the yellow Chevy.  Bill recognized them from eating at McDonald's 😄

I'm never sure what I'm caught saying or doing but always with the hands...

Tom and Josie Moburg came out to join the fun.

The pic below is from Ed Mills...a nice capture of our interior...

Bill Ferrell's mean Falcon

Larry and Jane Ferguson's '49 Plymouth

One of Walt Johnson' many cars...a nice '32 Vicky

The Mercury picture below is not from last night but just showing Gary Pullen's usual car we see.  Gary is president of the Concrete Cruizers and a 50 year veteran of cars.  He gave me some very helpful advice on getting Mary Lou ready for winter and gave me a another Newton name to talk to.  Gary knew Gordy.

This is what Gary drove in last night...a Roush Mustang

A sweet '70 Mustang.  Car from Oklahoma.  Owner moved here from South Dakota.

Jessie is one of the singers we hear at the VFW and Sugar Shack and I learned this is his Monte Carlo...the plates seem obvious now.
