Perfect weather for our first VFW cruise-in this year. Someone estimated 105 cars/trucks were out. That is a great turnout. We met some of the nicest people. I would say this shows that people are willing to move on from any scuttle about charging to get in. It got resolved and felt the same to us. There was some unfortunate drama...EMTs were called out. Someone inside at the bar fell backward and knocked himself out.

1BADCAD for sure. Cindy's letting him know how much she likes the car. This '59 belonged to this gentleman I believe 30 years ago...sold it to his uncle and then got it back and took it to Carnock Creations for the interior and not sure what else but it was amazing.
I had not seen this '40 Fod Deluxe before.
This '62 Studebaker belonged to a nice couple that didn't live far from the VFW and had never been out before. They bought this at an auction in Florida. It was clean and a good price and had it shipped home. Having fun with it. In great shape and a fun example of compact cars in that day.

Not sure if this car is rare...but not often seen. This is not an Impala (which for '58 was the top trim line for Chevy). This is a Bel Air 2-door hardtop.

This car is owned by a woman who told us I'm bringing my car over to you guys. It is NOT a kit car. Mini Mark out of Indiana. The way it came off the assembly line. She drove from Oregon to Iowa.
